As a member of 54 (Eastbourne) Squadron, all cadets have the opportunity to experience the full spectrum of a multitude of Air Cadet activities. These activities provide cadets throughout the country the opportunity to try something new, and follow the Air Training Corps motto; ‘Venture Adventure’.
While enjoyment is a large part of this, the main aim of the Air Cadet Organisation is to provide the younger generation with opportunities and experiences that will give them important life skills. Teamwork, communication, confidence, initiative and personal discipline are just a few of the life skills that cadets can learn from these activities, while still having fun, and having experiences that they’ll want to tell their friends and family about.
